Christmas came a week early for Alex LeMay.
As he ticks off a list of things he wants for Christmas, he fidgets like any 8-year-old. “Another present,” he says. “Off of homebound.”
While his mother Glenda assures that Alex likes his homebound teacher, Linda Craft, she says the prodigious youngster is anxious to get back to school with his buddies.
Alex made an early visit to Peaks Mill Elementary School for the Christmas party in Cathie Hoehner’s classroom just after learning he’ll return to school when classes resume Jan. 2.
Alex has been out of school since early November when he was severely injured in an accident on Election Day.
