What else is there to say about Chris Current?
The Frankfort High senior led the county in all five statistical categories this season, so it’s no surprise the 6-4 guard has been named The State Journal’s 2002-2003 All-County boys basketball most valuable player.
It’s the third year in a row Current has received the honor, making him the first three-time winner of the award.
Current is joined on the All-County squad by FHS teammates Will Current, Aaron Dunaway and Tory Robertson, along with Franklin County seniors Eric Eastman and Daniel Moore and Western Hills juniors John Keene and Jordan Samuels.
Panther coach Scott Chalk is the Coach of the Year for guiding Frankfort to a semifinal appearance in the All-A State Classic and a third straight 41st District title.
