Lenten offerings

The Knights of Columbus offer fish dinners, 5-8 p.m. each Friday through March 22 in Good Shepherd Church Parish Hall, 72 Shepherd Way. All proceeds benefit the work of the Knights of Columbus Council 1483.

Staxx BBQ, 11 Carson Place, is serving fried catfish on Fridays. A dinner of two pieces of fish, side, drink, and cornbread is $9.99, and a catfish sandwich, side and drink is $6.99.

Dining opportunities

The Bluegrass Theater Guild and the Capital Plaza Hotel have joined forces to present A Bad Year For Tomatoes in a dinner theater setting three times this weekend. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 both Friday and Saturday nights and theres an additional staging Saturday afternoon with lunch at 1 and the show at 2. Tickets are $25 per person and may be reserved by calling 502-223-2117.

LEXINGTON Georgias Kitchen, 900 North Broadway, is holding a St. Patricks Day Brunch, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. March 17. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 859-252-6837.
