Karen Leslie Gossett, 51, of Frankfort, died Monday afternoon, March 18, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

She was a former Financial Aid Records Manager at KY State University and former employee of Farmers Bank Cardinal Hill branch. She was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church, was involved with Native Preserves Conservation Group and was a KY Colonel.

Survivors include her daughter, Destiny Slattery Harrod (Brian), Frankfort; three grandchildren, Kara Ann, Abigail Brooke and William Gage Harrod; close family friend, Connie Harrod and other family members in Nelson County, KY.

A memorial prayer service and gathering of family and friends will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at West Frankfort Church of God with Rev. Wade Hughes officiating.
