NEW YORK (AP) -- A person familiar with the matter says the Morgan Stanley employee who was with a suspected Manhattan madam when she was arrested is a financial adviser for the firm's wealth management arm. Prosecutors say the two had a meeting just before the woman's arrest.
The person told The Associated Press that the adviser is broker David Walker. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss details the person was not authorized to release.
Walker isn't charged with any crime. A message left at his office wasn't immediately returned.
Morgan Stanley says it's looking into the matter. Manhattan prosecutors aren't commenting.
Anna Gristina has pleaded not guilty to a prostitution charge. Prosecutors says she was arrested Feb. 22 after a meeting in the financial adviser's office about a new business venture.
Fox Business Network first reported Walker's name.
