CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- The eight people killed in a West Virginia house fire included a woman celebrating her 26th birthday and six children, including an 18-month-old boy.

Officials released the victims' names at a news conference in Charleston Saturday. The blaze swept through the two-story home while the victims slept.

Mayor Danny Jones said Alisha Carter-Camp was killed. Neighbors say a family birthday party was held in her honor at the home Friday.

Jones says the other adult who died is Alex Seal. Four of the victims were 3 years old: Jeremiah Camp, Elijah Scott, and two children identified by first name only. The others were 8-year-old Keahna Camp and 18-month-old Emanuel Jones.

Jones says the relationships of the victims haven't been confirmed. Another child is on life support at a hospital.
