NEW YORK (AP) -- A man suspected of fleeing the scene of a grisly crash in New York City that killed a pregnant woman, her husband and their unborn child has been ordered held without bail after his arrest at a Pennsylvania convenience store.

The (Easton) Express Times says a judge held a video hearing Wednesday for Julio Acevedo and said the suspect would be held overnight in Lehigh County Prison in eastern Pennsylvania while awaiting an extradition hearing Thursday morning to address his return to New York.

Acevedo allegedly was speeding down a Brooklyn street early Sunday when he crashed into a car carrying Nachman and Raizy Glauber, both 21. They died Sunday, and their premature son died Monday.

It was not clear if the 44-year-old man had a lawyer.
