KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- An Afghan official says insurgents pulled four civilians off a minibus travelling in the eastern part of the country, shot them and left their bodies on the side of the road.
Wardak provincial government spokesman Shahidullah Shahid says the incident happened Tuesday and villagers reported it Wednesday. He says all four of the dead were Afghan civilians.
It was the second such shooting in the district in two weeks. Last week, four Afghan security guards were pulled out of a vehicle and executed in the same way.
