Zombie walk in Lansing to help feed hungry

LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Zombies are expected to roam a park in the state's capital city this weekend to help feed the hungry.

The Lansing State Journal reports (http://on.lsj.com/QK2f3U ) the 2012 Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk takes place Saturday to benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

The event starts at 11 a.m. at Ferris Park and features an obstacle course, 3-legged zombie races and snacks. The walk itself begins at 1 p.m.

There is no registration fee and people are encouraged to dress as zombies.
