COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman says he is aware of how frustrated Columbus Blue Jackets fans are about another losing season.
Then he expressed confidence in the club's ownership and management and their ability to turn the team around. Bettman also says he expects a great show when the league brings the All-Star game to Ohio's capital city in 2013.
Bettman, speaking before the Blue Jackets' home game Thursday night against the Dallas Stars, sidestepped questions about conference realignment and whether Ohio State's massive football stadium might someday host a Winter Classic. He did say that he hopes that high-definition cameras will be placed in all nets before the playoffs begin this spring.
