After brawl, Williams leads Fairborn with scoring

Fairborn needed to rebuild its basketball team. Kendrick Williams was a good corner stone.

Williams poured in a career-high 39 points in a 69-62 upset of Springboro and then dedicated the win to "my teammates who aren't even on the team anymore."

It was just two weeks ago that Fairborn and visiting Miamisburg brawled at Memorial Fieldhouse. The skirmish resulted in multiple team suspensions, a season-ending injury to a Miamisburg player, another player who was dismissed from Fairborn's team and a Fairborn student who could still face legal action.

Williams has led the Skyhawks with 34, 30 and 39 points in the games since the brawl.
