BERN, Switzerland (AP) -- Switzerland defender Scott Sutter has joined FC Zurich on loan for the rest of the season after falling out of favor at Young Boys.
Young Boys says in a statement that it wishes Sutter luck after he was no longer a first choice for coach Christian Gross.
Sutter, who was born in England, had talks with Blackburn last month but a move to the Premier League fell through.
The 25-year-old Sutter is eligible to represent Switzerland through his Swiss father. He played two international matches in 2010.
