GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -- Kelsey Howard scored a game-high 27 points, including all the game's points in the final minute, leading Jackson State in a comeback 63-60 win over Grambling State on Saturday night.
With Jackson State (7-19, 5-9 Southwestern Athletic Conference) trailing 60-59 with 1 minute left, Howard took the game into his hands. Howard also knocked down a trio of 3-pointers and tied team-highs with five rebounds and three assists for Jackson State, which also got 10 points apiece from Jonathan Lewis and Willie Readus.
