BERLIN (AP) -- Otto Rehhagel was officially presented as the new Hertha Berlin coach on Sunday.
The 73-year-old veteran takes over one week after Michael Skibbe was fired after only five games, all defeats.
Rehhagel says he feels "healthy and fit" and that Berlin is "special place" because he once played for the club. He says he wants Berlin to "remain in the Bundesliga."
Hertha is winless in 11 games and is two points above the relegation zone.
