BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) -- Serbian police are investigating who hurled a hand grenade last week into the yard of the house owned by the mother of Dragan Stojkovic, the coach of Nagoya Grampus and a former Red Star Belgrade and Marseille player.

Police said Monday the hand grenade exploded only several meters from the main entrance into the Stojkovic family house in the southern city of Nis.

No one was injured in the blast late Thursday. Stojkovic's mother, Desanka Stojkovic, was inside the house.

During a recent visit to Serbia, Stojkovic came under attack by Red Star fans, who blame him for allegedly illegally profiting from the sale of Red Star players while serving as the club's president in 2005-07.
