Barcelona's Messi takes aim at Racing Santander

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- Four days after scoring a Champions League record five goals, Barcelona forward Lionel Messi takes aim at the slumping Racing Santander in the Spanish league on Sunday.

With Barcelona's attack missing the injured David Villa and Alexis Sanchez, the defending champions will once again turn to Messi to keep them in touch with runaway leader Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old Argentina international needs just seven more goals to match Barcelona's all-time club record of 235 held by Cesar Rodriguez.

Jose Mourinho's Madrid first visits Real Betis on Saturday looking to extend its 10-point lead and pile the pressure on Barcelona not to stumble at the relegation-threatened Racing.
