From Canada, with goals: US soccer's Sydney Leroux

Sydney Leroux is the latest scoring sensation for the U.S. women's soccer team -- and she comes by way of Canada.

Leroux was born in British Columbia but always wanted to play for the Americans. She moved to the U.S. when she was a teenager to pursue her dream, although repeated bouts of homesickness nearly made her change her mind on several occasions.

Leroux scored a record-tying five goals for the U.S. in an Olympic qualifying game in January and tallied twice during the Algarve Cup, which finished up in Portugal this week.

At 21, she's the youngest player on the roster -- and appears a shoo-in to make the squad that'll head to the London Games in July.
