SEATTLE (AP) -- Aaron Broussard scored 28 points to lead Seattle to a 94-83 victory over Portland State Saturday night.
Eric Wallace had 17 points and 15 rebounds for Seattle (12-15), winners in six of its last seven games. Cervante Burrell added 15 points and six assists for the Redhawks.
The game was the season finale for both teams, and the last game for Seattle as an independent. The Redhawks join the Western Athletic Conference next season.
Renado Parker led Portland State with 20 points. Charles Odum and Dre Winston scored 19 points apiece and Chehales Tapscott had 10 points and seven rebounds.
Portland State (17-15) lost in the Big Sky tournament semifinals on Tuesday to Weber State. The Vikings have been Seattle's senior night opponents for three years in a row.
