GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- Rangers slumped to its third loss in four games since entering bankruptcy protection, with the Scottish champions going down 2-1 at Dundee United on Saturday.
Keith Watson put the hosts ahead with a 37th-minute strike and Jon Daly netted at the start of the second half.
Rangers pulled one back on the hour, with a deflected strike from substitute Sone Aluko off John Rankin.
The loss left financially stricken Rangers 21 points behind Scottish Premier League leader Celtic in second after having 10 points deducted for entering administration.
The Glasgow club could face liquidation if it cannot find a buyer to finance it through the rest of the season.
