LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- The legend of Elena Delle Donne is growing.

The 6-foot-5 Delle Donne scored 39 points, leading Delaware to a 73-42 win over Arkansas-Little Rock in their NCAA tournament opener. She was trending on Twitter by the time the game was finished, and she was tweeted by Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant on Monday morning.

All the celebrity aside, Delle Donne and the third-seeded Blue Hens (31-1) must prepare for 11th-seeded Kansas in a second-round game Tuesday night.

The Jayhawks (20-12) advanced with a 57-49 win over Nebraska and have faced another star player this season in Baylor center Brittney Griner. They lost both of those matchups and will have another difficult chore against the nation's leading scorer in Delle Donne.
