Benfica ends Braga's run as leader with win

LISBON, Portugal (AP) -- Braga's run as Portuguese leader lasted five days after Benfica scored in stoppage time to win 2-1, and FC Porto took advantage with a victory that put it top again on Saturday.

Bruno Cesar combined with Nicolas Gaitan for a 92nd-minute winner that lifted Benfica into second ahead of Braga, which saw its winning streak end at 13 games.

Porto leads Benfica by one point and Braga by two after a 2-0 triumph over Olhanense, although the standings could reshuffle again next weekend when the defending champion travels to Braga.

Axel Witsel put Benfica ahead in the 78th and while Braga equalized in the 82nd through Elderson Echiejile, it remained winless at the Stadium of Light since the 1954-55 season.
