Texas A&M: DE Damonte Moore. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound junior is having an absolute monster season for the Aggies. He leads the SEC with 18 tackles for a loss and 10½ sacks. He has a team-high 65 tackles, which is the most for a defensive lineman in all of the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Mississippi State: DB Johnthan Banks. The 6-foot-2 senior cornerback is the leader of Mississippi State's veteran secondary. He has four interceptions that he's returned for a total of 124 yards and leads the defense with five pass breakups.

This is only the second time the two programs have met since 1940. The other meeting was in the 2000 Independence Bowl, which Mississippi State won 43-41 in overtime.
