Rondo left the game shortly after reaching 20 assists, four short of his career high, early in the fourth quarter. He also had 20 assists against Philadelphia on Nov. 9.

Paul Pierce added 19 points and six rebounds, and Kevin Garnett had 15 points for Boston. Rookie Jared Sullinger had his first double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
