BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- Goals from Pedro Leon and Jose "Mane" Jimenez led Getafe to a 2-0 win at last-place Espanyol in the Spanish league on Sunday, while Athletic Bilbao was held to 1-1 home draw by Deportivo La Coruna.

Getafe dominated the match at Cornella-El Prat stadium from the start, and Leon converted its dominance in the 17th minute when he cut back along the edge of the area and slotted a left-footed shot inside the post.

Defender Jose "Mane" Jimenez added a second goal in the 90th to seal Getafe's second straight win.

Espanyol has lost three straight and is two points from safety after 13 rounds.

Fernando Llorente made his first start of the season for Bilbao, but the Spain striker was unable to prevent the Basque side from staying winless in back-to-back games.

Llorente, who had been left out of the starting 11 since asking for a transfer in the offseason, took the place of suspended striker Aritz Aduriz.

After Llorente hit the crossbar, Oscar de Marcos gave Bilbao the lead in the 23rd. Abel Aguilar leveled for the visitors with a header in the 52nd in Deportivo's only shot on the target.
