PSV takes lead in Dutch league

AMSTERDAM (AP) -- PSV Eindhoven replaced FC Twente at the top of the Dutch league after Twente drew at Feyenoord 0-0 on Sunday.

Third-place Ajax squandered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 at Vitesse Arnhem.

Vitesse was without leading scorer Wilfried Bony, playing for Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.

Ajax went two ahead with goals from Lasse Schoene and Christian Poulsen. Vitesse responded through Theo Janssen who made a run from midfield before chipping a goal neatly over Ajax goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer.

Patrick van Aanholt and Renato Ibarra also scored for Vitesse, which moved fourth ahead of Feyenoord.

PSV won 5-1 at Heracles Almelo on Saturday, with two goals from Giorginio Wijnaldum.

Five points separate the top five teams.
