Joseph L. Willard

Joseph L. Willard, 83, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was born October 29, 1928, in Frankfort to the late Estil and Evelyn Curry Willard. He was a member of Capital City Christian Church. He is survived by his sister Doris W. Harrod, of Frankfort; his niece, Ruth Harrod Henry; and two nephews, Thomas Harrod, Jr. and Stephen Boyd Harrod.

Funeral service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road with Rev. Vernon Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers are Thomas J. Harrod, Jr., Ruth Harrod Henry, Lewis Edward Henry, Jason Thomas Harrod, Dawn Hornbeck Chadwell, and Carrie Hornbeck Peach. Honorary Casket bearer is Stephen Boyd Harrod. Visitation will be 11 a.m.

Tuesday until the time of service.

  • To the family of Joe Willard - I am sorry for your loss. I went to church with Joe. He always had a smile; he always spoke to me. I also know how much he loved his momma and missed her so much. I know of his faith. May God bring you peace and comfort. Debbie Henry
