Ranier Caldwell, Belhaven College (MS) Assistant Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator, has earned internship with the NFL during the summer's mini-camps. He will be working as an offensive intern at the Detroit Lions mini-camp.
The internships are made possible by the NFL's Minority Fellowship program. This program grants internships during each season's summer workouts so that minority coaches will gain exposure for employment opportunities within the NFL.
Ranier Caldwell has participated in the program once before as an offensive intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2002.
He is the son of Ike and Sherry Yett of Frankfort. He is a 1988 Franklin County High School Graduate.
