The Frankfort Christian Academy varsity soccer team continues to go where no varsity team in the school's history has gone before.
The TFCA Royals are a perfect 11-0 this season and have out scored their opponents by an incredible 72 to 5.
Head coach Killis Sinkhorn is proud of the accomplishment his team has made so far. "They continue to accomplish things beyond expectations. The kids are playing really good soccer, but I believe their best soccer is still to come."
TFCA's starting goalie Josh Crosby has recorded 8 shutouts. Forward Isaac Sinkhorn leads all scorers with 21 goals (3 hat tricks), followed by Devaugn Johnson with 14 goals (2 hat tricks) and Joseph Franchino with 9 goals. Midfielder Layne Sinkhorn leads the team in assists and passes.
Last week's games included a tough road win against KCAA's second-ranked Somerset Christian Academy (2-1) and home wins against Academy for Individual Excellence (8-0) and against Lakeside Christian Academy (9-0).
Last Tuesday the Royals won at home against Winchester Christian Academy 9-0.
Their next home game is Tuesday September 29th against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 6PM. All home games are played at the soccer field on Buck Run's property located on 421.
The Royals are part of the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association (KCAA) and will finish their season playing in the Landmark Lions Invitational Tournament in Louisville on October 23rd and 24th.
