Today is the 15th Anniversary of Timothy McVeigh's bombing of the Oklahoma Federal Building. The obvious link between McVeigh's actions and the violent extremist of today was punctuated by the Hutarees militia's recent arrest and has brought this issue back into the mainstream's discussion.
The recent Second Amendment rally on the steps of the Capitol showed that much of the hate-filled misinformation rhetoric of McVeigh is still being spewed by the Tea Party bunch of today...right here in our own hometown.
Don't miss the MSNBC documentary, "The McVeigh Tapes: Confessions of an American Terrorist" from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 19th, on MSNBC.
Oh snap, Frankfort cable doesn't even carry MSNBC. How 'bout that, now how many FOX channels does the Frankfort Plant Board carry again? No wonder people this town don't know what is going on...they are forced to watch FOX News. I would bet that the decision NOT to carry MSNBC on the FPB cable is a political one...but who makes that call?
