A Republican Perspective sans Vitriolic Rhetoric

Published:

So tired of some Democrats believing all Republicans are bigoted, rich and white. The Republican Party was founded by anti-slavery expansion activists in 1854. The first Republican President (Lincoln) is credited with ending slavery. I was raised in a middle-class family where men served in our armed forces, women worked to support the family and education was valued. In the privacy of our home, where family and friends were free to speak their mind, I never heard one racial slur or comment from any Republican family member or friend. I did however hear some words and comments I can't repeat from several yellow dog Democrat family members (that is how they described themselves). Perhaps everyone should think for themselves and not blindly follow liberal rhetoric.
