"Things I See" The Exhibit: Reception

The Cornerstone Art Gallery cordially invites you to attend our public reception for the "Things I See" exhibit, the photographic art of Mr. Wayne Stacy, presented in our gallery, the evening of December 16th, 2011 in Frankfort, KY.

Mr. Stacy has become one of the emerging artists to watch for in the Kentucky art community. His stylized work in landscape and natural wonders photography is a must see. His work goes well beyond the borders of Kentucky and he has traveled to countless destinations to capture what he sees through his lens. He brings to the Cornerstone many of his most popular regional works as well as many new works from his 2010 and 2011 photography expeditions.

A few of Mr. Stacy's recent accomplishments include:

Award winner for his work "Rising From Whiskey Creek", through the Louisville Visual Arts Association, and Maker's Mark.
Juried artist in four regional art guilds.
23 gallery exhibits and festival appearances in the last two years.
2007 Kentucky State Parks photo essay winner.
2010 Participating artist in the FEI World Equestrian Games Art Festival.
2010 U.S. National Park photo study artist.
2011 Kentucky Derby Festival photo study artist.
2011 Al Smith Fellowship and Emerging Artist Award applicant artist.
2011 Louisville Visual Art Association exhibiting artist for the "Month Of Maker's" 78th anniversary of Maker's Mark Bourbon.

More than thirty original and limited edition works will be on display for this great event, including his award winning work "Rising From Whiskey Creek".
