Re: Visiting Author

On Friday, November 9th, between 9 AM – 1 PM, Kentucky author Nancy Kelly Allen will be visiting Good Shepherd School in Frankfort. Nancy will discuss how an author works. Students will learn how an idea is molded into a story, the importance of revision, and how the finished story is published as a book.

Nancy’s picture book, Trouble in Troublesome Creek, was selected to represent Kentucky at the 2010 National Book Festival in Washington, DC and her other book, On the Banks of the Amazon won the Children’s Book of the Year in 2005 by Appalachian Writers Association.

Nancy will present an entertaining program you won’t want to miss!

This is a great photo opportunity.
