Hemp will become economically viable in the USA with or without Kentucky's participation. Marijuana will NEVER be eradicated in Kentucky, because is is constantly being replanted every year. The "problem" of marijuana eradication is one that will never be resolved, regardless of whether hemp is grown or not. Hemp hasn't been grown here since the 1940's and marijuana hasn't been eradicated yet...how much more time do they really need?

Congratulations on your open stand for medical marijuana, but unfortunately, you are in the minority of "traditional conservatives" who are in favor of it. I believe in the science behind medical marijuana, and that it should be decriminalized to allow and encourage the open scientific research necessary for it to reach its potential in the world of pharmacology. I believe in and have a strong family unit and I am certainly more patriotic than most.
