Dar Williams, a pop-folk singer-songwriter, has toured with such artists as Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Griffin, Ani Difranco, and Joan Baez. The New Yorker has described Williams as "one of America's very best singer songwriters.” Williams’ latest album, In the Time of Gods, was released in April 2012 and focuses on the complex mysterious world of mythology. The Wall Street Journal said, "Singer-songwriter Dar Williams is considered one of rock's reigning onstage wits. She is also known for her lyrical, evocative songwriting and singing. Help the Sunshine Center continue their effort in raising awareness of child abuse by supporting the 4th Annual Benefit Concert. The event is sponsored by Commonwealth Credit Union, Peach Homes & Properties, Graviss McDonald’s, Buffalo Trace Distillery, and Harrod & Associates. The proceeds from this event will go directly to The Sunshine Center, allowing the agency to continue their efforts in promoting awareness of child abuse, in addition to providing counseling services to child victims in the community.
