Why is it that tenants (renters) seem to think it is just fine to move out in the middle of a lease and not expect to get served court papers? When renters begin the "I got laid off", "I called the church and they are going to help me" or the best ever......"the faucet never has worked and the place has bugs" we know what's coming. A midnight move-out. Yep, gotta move the 64 inch flat screen and designer furniture out before you get served. Why don't you just PAY your rent and stop playing the VICTIM card! Show some respect and then expect same in return. Calling all Property Managers and Landlords to unite and start going to court in huge numbers with deadbeat tenants and finally they will get the message. Also, the courts will see that strict enforcement on evictions and small claims is needed and that apologies to the deadbeat tenant in court isn't what is needed. Thank You.
