New Socks Brings Joy to the Homeless

Cindy Published:

Children at the Arbor House in Lexington were excited to receive  brand new socks on Christmas Eve.  The socks were collected during a Socks Drive for Homeless children.  Socks might not seem like much, but when you have very little, it means a lot.  The child pictured here, loved the Santa socks.  The children weren't expecting such nice and colorful socks.  They were very appreciative and thankful. Trinity Christian Academy , Pax Christi Catholic Church Faith Works 6th graders, Sassy Fox of Lexington,  St Paul United Methodist Church and SOCKS inc of Frankfort   collected  and donated about 1500 pairs of socks.  Other recepients  of the socks were The Simon House in Frankfort, Chrysalis House in Lexington and Clark County Homeless Coalition of Winchester, Kentucky.
