Bellepoint - the Land Forgotten

Published:

A neighborhood beset with problems.

Flood prone and not worthy of a flood wall. But worthy of a sewer plant and dog pound.

Crime ridden, drug infested

Worthy of a city school football field but not city attention

A 200 home neighborhood of mostly good poor people but not better that 1 dilapidated 100 yr old building owned by a rich person with powerful connections.

Thought of as a location for votes and political yard signs but will be forgotten the day after the election.

Seeks protection from County officials because the city has forgotten us.

Democrats always win city elections, Democrats have forgotten the poor.

Democrats expect the poor to vote for them because they help the poor and downtrodden. This is no longer true.

Will a Republican or Democrat running for Mayor campaign in our neighborhood?

We want help, no, we need help in cleaning up our neighborhood. Every time we call the County Sheriff, he responds. That's one politician honoring his word. Are there politicians willing to earn our votes by honoring their word?

It's time to step up. We need YOU more than you need US.
