What was that?

Last night, at least in the northern part of the county, the sirens went off during the storm.
There were no warnings issued for Franklin County.
Was this an itchy trigger finger? A glitch? Something else?

Also, on a semi-related topic, can someone from Franklin County Emergency Management tell me what your siren activation criteria are? Tornado warning? Severe thunderstorm warning? Tornado sighted? I've heard different things from different people which suggests that I'm not the only one that is confused.
