Has anyone noticed the "hang-kids" on the wall of our old Capital Lawn..?
It's admirable to see them interact, bang the bongos, spin the hula hoops, throw Frisbees, play hacky sack, ride bikes ( on the sidewalk), ride skate boards ( on the sidewalk) , throw a football and kick a soccer ball around.
Has anyone also noticed the empty bottles, empty candy wrappers, empty chips bags, empty cups and other trash that is left on the walls of our old capitol the next morning?
Has anyone noticed the Frankfort police showing up several times to break up fights that have occurred there?
Has anyone noticed comments that are made towards people that park on that side of Broadway while getting in their car?
Has anyone noticed the "dress code" of some of these kids with purple, pink, yellow hair, dreadlocks, piercings all over, ripped clothing? Did anyone notice some with bare feet utilizing the bathroom at the downtowner?
When I grew up, it was still allowed to have mom and dad smack some sense into a child for littering, breaking curfew, dressing like a bum or tramp, cussing and being disrespectful towards people and my surroundings.
Has anyone noticed how children have changed over the years?
Has anyone noticed how parents have failed in guiding and teaching children values over the years ?
