Kentucky Junior Historical Society Regional Rally

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Harrodsburg
Active KJHS clubs and those interested in joining are invited to discover this 19th-century communal, religious society at the country's largest restored Shaker community. Students will explore 14 original Shaker buildings, hear a musical performance in the 1820 meeting house and learn about everyday life in the "Fall on the Farm" program where demonstrators will be engaged in broom-making, wood-working, spinning and weaving.
