Frankfort Police arrested a Frankfort man after they discovered he was driving with a child passenger while intoxicated Thursday afternoon, according to a news release.
Police discovered a 5-year-old child was a passenger in the vehicle after making the traffic stop for erratic driving, the release says.
After failing to pass sobriety tests, Robert Berrie, 41, was arrested and lodged at the Franklin County Regional Jail on a $20,666 bond, according to the release. Police contacted a family member to retrieve the child.
Berrie was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, wanton endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, prescription not in original container, expired registration, failure to produce an insurance card, failure to signal and failure to wear a seat belt, according to the release.
