Olympic coverage free to plant board customers

Frankfort Plant Board cable customers who receive either MSNBC or CNBC can get free access to NBC’s 2012 Olympic coverage from London on their computers, tablets or mobile devices, FPB announced in a press release Thursday.

The London Olympics are expected to generate more than 3,500 hours of TV coverage, and FPB cable customers can create an online account at www.watchtveverywhere.com. Those interested in registering must provide an FPB account number, found at the top of monthly bills.

Every event will be available live on www.nbcolympics.com or the NBC Live Extra application for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Olympic coverage will also be available on FPB’s video on demand service in standard or high definition. Events will be added to the system a day after they air and remain available for five days.

Coverage of the Olympics, which begin Friday and last through Aug. 12, will be available on NBC (FPB channels 3, 7, 503 and 507), NBC Sports Network (channels 146 and 646), CNBC (channels 31 and 531), MSNBC (channels 32 and 532), Bravo (channels 68 and 568), NBC Olympic basketball (channel 800) and NBC Olympic soccer (channel 801).
