Man who witnesses say jumped from bridge identified

Officials have identified the man found dead, apparently by suicide, Friday morning on Old Lawrenceburg Road.

Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton said the body of Curtis Adams, 75, of 663 Old Lawrenceburg Road, was found around 7:30 a.m. Friday not far from Adams’ home.

Witnesses told investigators they saw Adams jump from Interstate 64 onto Old Lawrenceburg Road, Melton said.

Funeral services for Adams are 2 p.m. Monday at Frankfort Cemetery. Harrod Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
