By Lindsey Erdody Published:

A woman has pleaded guilty in Franklin Circuit Court to stabbing her boyfriend in the buttocks.

Robin Taulbee, 52, of Frankfort, was arrested the day after Christmas for stabbing her boyfriend, Steven Leathers, in the buttocks during an argument. According to the plea deal, both were intoxicated at the time.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Larry Cleveland recommends a sentence of 12 months, takes no position on probation, but suggests including mental health and alcohol counseling as conditions of it.

He also recommends Taulbee pay for Leathers’ $2,089 medical expenses.

Taulbee will be sentenced at a later date. She pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault.
