A man was shot in the leg by an unknown person in a passing vehicle early Friday morning.
Brennan Washington, 22, of Frankfort, told police he was shot on East Main Street after officers received a call from Frankfort Regional Medical Center about a man seeking treatment for a gunshot wound around 4 a.m. Friday, according to Frankfort Police.
Washington said he drove himself to the emergency room, police say. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Frankfort Police Maj. Fred Deaton didn’t provide further details, saying the case is under investigation.
