Police search for man who broke into AT&T store

Suspect got away with thousands of dollars worth of cell phones

Frankfort Police are searching for a man who they said stole thousands of dollars worth of cell phones from a local store.

Capt. Robert Warfel said officers responded to an alarm at the AT&T store at 305 Leonardwood, Suite 4, just before 6 a.m. Friday.

When they arrived, they found the glass on the front door had been broken.

Warfel said the store’s security video showed a man using a rock to smash out the glass and get inside.

The man allegedly stole several cell phones, worth about $3,100.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Frankfort Police at 875-8523.
