'They just ravished the city'

By GAYLE COULTER State Journal Staff Writer Published:

Frankfort Police are looking for a person or persons responsible for shooting out more than 40 car and truck windows Sunday night and Monday morning.

More than 40 people had windows in their vehicles shot out overnight by what appears to be either a BB gun or a pellet gun, police said. One woman was driving her car when her window was shot out, according to police reports.

"They just ravished the city," said Frankfort Police officer Casey Wilson, who said he took at least 10 reports on Monday.

Police have a description of a vehicle suspected of being involved in the shootings and said they are on the lookout for a late 1980s model Chevrolet pick-up that is either red or burnt orange in color with mag wheels and a loud exhaust.
