Alesha Anglin, 18 and a FCHS senior, married her longtime boyfriend and fianc Nick Anglin on Jan. 18 a little more than a week after he received word that he would soon be shipped out.

"We decided the Saturday before that we were going to do it," Alesha said. "He kept saying, 'If something should happen to me, I want to make sure you're taken care of.'"

Private First Class Nick Anglin, 19, a graduate of Franklin County High School, does communications for the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell. He is the son of Frankfort residents Philip and Betty Anglin.
