Today is David Steitz's last day as CEO of the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
The 18-year veteran of the health-care field came to the local hospital in April of 1997 and for the past six years he has dedicated himself to it.

He began as an assistant administrator at the hospital in Houston and later became CEO of Bourbon hospital in Paris, Ky. Just before coming to Frankfort he was the CEO of the Lake City, Fla., hospital.
Steitz said he is proud of his record here.
