A Frankfort woman suffered fatal injuries Saturday afternoon in a two-car collision on Georgetown Road.
Betty Burris, 81, of Chickasaw Trail was dead on arrival at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
City police said the accident occurred when Burris pulled her vehicle from Hiawatha Trail onto Georgetown Road into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by Jermaine E. Jackson, 28, Frankfort.
Jackson was treated and released at the hospital, as were passengers Melinda K. Maupin, 38, and Jamjah L. Jackson, 3.
Police said all occupants of both cars were wearing seatbelts and there was no indication of alcohol involvement.
